Questa è la prima Cover che ho deciso di provare a registrare.
Era da alcune settimane che ascoltavo “Your Song” di Elton John.
Per la precisione ho ascoltato a lungo la versione cantata da Al Jarreau, così
morbida e sensuale.
Piano, piano questa canzone mi è entrata sotto pelle e mi è venuta voglia di
registrarla.
Mi è piaciuta moltissimo, sia per la melodia che ritengo essere una delle più
belle mai scritte in assoluto, sia perchè si porta dietro il fascino di tutte le
canzoni scritte a cavallo del 1970.
Sarà che è il mio anno di nascita, ma è come se inconsciamente dentro di me sia
rimasta moltissima della musica scritta tra la fine degli anni ‘60 ed i primi anni
‘70.
Ho preso una base per Karaoke, ho inciso le chitarre e poi la voce.
Spero di averne resa una versione degna di essere ascoltata.
